Autumn 2022 Series: The ECT Years with Andy Taylor (MrTs_NQTs)

Andy is a teacher educator at the University of Worcester and has previously worked in primary schools as a teacher and senior leader.  Andy focuses a lot of his work around supporting and developing Early Career Teachers both in his work and online through his Twitter account.

Andy also co-hosts Bowden Education's monthly ECT Support Network - an online space for ECTs and trainee teachers to network, gain advice and share.

 

In this episode Catherine Carden chats to Andy about the ECT years.  Catherine and Andy explore the ECT entitlement, process and assessment alongside offering suggestions of how ECTs can be proactive in their own development.
